CONSTRUCTION Fluorescent Battery Packs 22-gauge black steel housing. Dual-voltage input capability (120/277V). Operates one 2' – 4' ţ uorescent T8 or T12 lamp for 120 minutes. Compatible with PS600C electronic, rapid start, instant start, preheat or trigger-start ballasts in standard or energy-saving conŢ gurations. Unit wires two ways: on night light circuit (permanently energized) or on switch- able circuit (unswitched circuit to battery charger and switched circuit to the Ţ xture ballast). Unit will strike normally off lamp. Produces 600 to 700 lumens initial emergency light output. ELECTRICAL Constant-current series resistor-type charger. Capacitive input circuit provides high-efŢ ciency and reliable operation. High-efŢ ciency, push-pull inverter is the most effective method of converting DC power to AC power. Two ½" holes in Ţ xture channel permit mounting of test switch/ pilot light behind Ţ xture lens. Compact size (9.4" L x 2.4" W x 1.5" H) allows installation in a variety of ţ uorescent troffers, industrials, commercials and strips. Fast, easy installation simpliŢ ed by a "user friendly" wiring diagram. Unit can be remote mounted up to half the distance recommended by the ballast manufacturer or 50 feet, whichever is less.
