THEORY OF OPERATION Dimensions in inches 1" = 25.4 mm 1/2" Conduit Opening MA-305 or MA-405 series actuator output shaft rotates 180° Both Sides 4" 4-3/4" clockwise (CW) when energized and spring returns counterclockwise (CCW) to 0° when de-energized. 3-3/8" MA-31X and MA-41X series actuator output shaft rotates 170° clockwise (CW) when energized and spring returns 4-1/2" 5-3/4" counterclockwise (CCW) to 0° when de-energized. 15/16" 1/2" Dia. Shaft 17/64" Dia. MA-305 and MA-405 series actuator motors are assembled 3-7/8" Hole (3) to a gear train and stall at the end of the power stroke. 13/16" MA-318, MA-416, MA-418 and MA-419 series actuators have an end of travel switch which reduces the running input 2-1/4" 1-1/2" 4-3/4" 1/4" from 70 watts to 25 watts at the end of the CW rotation. 5-3/8" 4-1/2" 5-5/8" PRE-INSTALLATION Figure 3.
