MODEL 8513P 13-SLOT PCI/ISA RACKMOUNT RUGGEDIZED INDUSTRIAL CHASSIS DOC# 2370 PCI/ISA CAPABILITY PROVIDED IN A 20" KEY FEATURES DEEP INDUSTRIAL CHASSIS The 8513P heavy-duty industrial chassis was designed to support n Three PCI slots, one SBC slot, and nine ISA slots TM the PICMG compliant Peripheral Component Interface (PCI) bus for use under harsh environmental conditions. This versatile 19 inch rackmounted chassis is integrated with a n Front and rear keyboard connectors, CPU reset passive backplane configured with nine ISA slots, one SBC slot, and switch, hard disk activity LED three PCI slots. The combination of the exceptional I/O performance of the PCI local bus (33MHz with a 32-bit datapath and a burst mode of 132MBytes/sec) and the low cost ISA expansion bus is ideal for high performance data acquisition, telecommunications, and video/graphic n Built-in speaker, door lock, and power switch applications. CHASSIS AND POWER n One internal 3.5" drive bay and one 3.5" or 5.25" Encased in a painted heavy gauge steel chassis 7"H x 19"W x 20"D, the 8513P is vibration and shock proofed to operate in the external drive bay for removeable media harshest environments. Peripheral mounting bays are individually shock-mounted for reliable operation under extreme conditions. The 8513P chassis is equipped with an autoswitching 250-Watt or a 350- n EMI/RFI-resistant four-layer terminated passive Watt power supply with an AC input voltage range from 90 - 264 backplane VAC servicing both U.S. and international power sources. Also provided is a 48 VDC 350-watt power supply with an extended input voltage range of 35 - 74 VDC. n Operates without keyboard or monitor FLEXIBILITY/RELIABILITY The 8513P chassis design allows easy top access to SBC and o o controller cards. The removable drive cage also makes servicing a snap. n Burned-in at 55 C (131 F) and system tested Front access is provided for two 5.25" x 1.63" or 5.25" x 1.0" before shipment removable media while two 3.5" x 1.0" hard drives may be mounted internally. This chassis offers the optimum in flexibility and durability. The n Locking front door passive backplane permits easy upgrading as system requirements change. Dual knockouts for DB-9 and DB-25 connectors are located on the rear of the chassis to save I/O bracket space. n Front panel louvers protect against spilled liquids The 8513P chassis is designed and tested to work in environments o up to 55 C. The newly designed filtered cooling system will keep the unit running cool in the harshest environments. A removable front filter n One year warranty and complete documentation is easily maintained.
