Micro/Premium PLCs TSX SCP 111/112/114 PCMCIA Communication Cards Quick Reference Guide 03 / 2003 W915905240401 01 PCMCIA Cards : TSX SCP 111/112/114 Presentation Type III extended PCMCIA cards for connecting TSX Micro and Premium PLCs (TSX 57/PMX57/ PCX57) to the communication bus and asynchronous serial links. These cards are installed in the host slot on the processor and/or the TSX SCY 21601 module. Protocols which can be used for each card : • UNI-TELWAY protocol TSX Micro • Modbus/Jbus protocol • Character mode protocol TSX SCP TSX/PMX 57 111/112/114 TSX/PMX 57 Card references : • TSX SCP 111 : RS 232D link PCX 57 • TSX SCP 112 : current loop link (20 mA) • TSX SCP 114 : RS 485 link (RS 422-compatible) Assembly The mechanical configuration of the card must be adapted depending on the type of installation required using one of the removable covers 1, 2 or 3. Covers : • Cover 3 : for a TSX Micro or TSX/PMX 57 processor or TSX SCY 21601card • Cover 2 : for a PCX 57 processor • Cover 1 : for a PC-compatible device ! ! ! Mounting should always ! ! be carried out with the power off.
