If this redundant configuration is used and you want to connect the M4 controller to a host PC, you must install an Opto 22 M4SARC, M4SARCF, or M4SARCFR interface card for ARCNET communication with the PC. The use of a single twisted-pair node to talk to brains is also supported. The example below shows node 0 used for host-to-controller communication, and shows node 1 used to talk to “HA” style SNAP brains. (M4-family controller firmware currently does not support redundant communication with the host.) Note: M4DUALARC card nodes are designated 0 and 1, but these should not be mistaken with the node IDs. Each ARCNET node in the controller has a node ID; it is the same as the controller’s address. What makes Elite.Parts unique?

chervon down
At GID Industrial (Elite.Parts' parent company), we specialize in procuring industrial parts. We know where to find the rare and obsolete equipment that our customers need in order to get back to business. What kind of warranty will the M4DUALARC have?

chervon down
Warranties differ by part and by which suppliers we use to procure it for you. Sometimes, a part will be sold as-is and without a warranty. Our specialty, single board computers, tend to receive a one-year warranty.

Which carriers does Elite.Parts work with?

chervon down
Elite.Parts can ship via FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS. We have accounts with each of them and generally ship using one of those, but we can also ship using your account if you would prefer. However, we can use other carriers if it will be more convenient for you.
