It is an All-In-One single board computer conforming to the A TV-Out PC/104-Plus standard. A Sound I/O AC97 compatible It comes with fast AGP4x graphics, 10/100 BaseT Ethernet and AC-97 Sound I/O on-board. The A Watchdog Cool Roadrunner III offers a CompactFlash™ socket and an ATA-6 (Ultra DMA-100) compliant A Flash BIOS EIDE interface. The system‘s main memory is expandable up to 512 MB SDRAM according to the applications requirements via the on-board SODIMM socket. The module is available with 2 A GoldCap for backup ® ® processor variants. One is the Ultra-Low Voltage Intel Celeron Processor running at either A Expandable via PC/104 bus 400 MHz or 650 MHz. This processor is optimized for low power consumption and therefore ideally suited for mobile applications, where power is scarce. It is fully compatible with previ- ® ous x86 processors and provides support for MMX technology and for streaming SIMD exten- sions, thus ensuring very good fl oating point performance. The other processor type is the In- ® ® tel Pentium III, which offers the same features but runs at up to 933 MHz. The infrastructure of the board is realized with a VIA TwisterT chipset with an integrated Sav- age4 graphics accelerator from S3. With up to 32 MB of graphics memory, resolutions as high as 1600 x 1200 at 16.7 million colors are supported. In addition to ordinary SVGA-monitors, all kinds of LCD and TFT Flat Panels can be connected through either the 2-channel LVDS or the 18-bit parallel TFT interface. The board also provides a TV-Out port supporting both standards, NTSC and PAL as well as CVBS and S-Video. The integrated AC97 compliant audio subsystem gives full sound capabilities. Beside the usual serial and parallel ports there are two USB and one IrDA interface integrated on the board, providing connectivity to all sorts of peripherals. Local mass memory may be added in CompactFlash™ header, which can be used with all con- temporary CF modules. For easy troubleshooting there are supervision LEDs for power, watch- dog, Ethernet and other, custom purposes integrated on the board.
