It features seven backlit soft touch buttons along with a volume control knob. The MLC 64 RS VC D provides control capabilities for common AV functions including power and input switching, while also providing remote volume and mute control of any Extron power amplifier or mic preamplifier with a remote volume control port. This allows the controller to communicate with (transmit only) virtually any RS-232-enabled projector or flat panel display. In TTL level (0 to 5 V) modulated infrared control from addition, a digital input and two relays are included for monitoring 30 kHz up to 60 kHz, or ±5 V RS-232 control and controlling other systems in the room, including lighting, (transmit only) screens, motion sensors, and other devices. *IR/serial ports are configurable via software; serial communication is the default. The Easy-to-use MLC 60 Series Configuration Software provides CONTROL — RELAY fast and simple setup via RS-232 or USB when combined with one Number/type 2 momentary or latching (configurable via software) of many ready-to-use IR or RS-232 Extron Certified Device Drivers available on the Extron Web site. The configuration program and CONTROL — PERIPHERAL AUDIO EQUIPMENT MLC 64 RS VC D also support IR Learning for creating new IR Volume control 0 to 10 VDC variable voltage, positive logic (the higher the voltage, the higher the volume) drivers from the handheld remote of a source or display device.
