The powerful IBM EPPC-405 PPC405GP with 200 or 266 MHz enables a performance of up to 375 MIPS. The board is equipped with 16 or 64 Mbyte SDRAM, up to 8 Mbyte Flash and a CompactFlash slot to car- ry various memory cards. A non-volatile NVRAM enables the EPPC-405 to save valuable process variables during power off sequences.
