The blade PROCESSING is engineered to meet the application needs of next generation infrastructure n Dual processor XLR732 multi-core MIPS64 processor including IPTV, radio network controllers (RNC), security gateways, session n Eight multi-threaded cores per XLR border controllers, WiMAX base station aggregation, and wireless xGSNs. improves code efficiency and development n Internal fast messaging network improves core efficiency and reduces latency The PP50 provides superior performance via one or two discrete multi-core n Integrated 10Gbps security acceleration MIPS64 packet processors. Each processor provides 8 multi-threaded cores engine to maximize security performance and contains a built-in security co-processor capable of handling up to 10Gbps n Mezzanines for TCAM or specialized off-load engines (including dedicated of bulk encryption / decryption (20Gbps per blade). The PP50 supports each user-specific ASIC / FPGA) processor with up to 8GB of memory (16GB per blade) as well as access to a TCAM and content-based processors via mezzanines.
