ARTIC DSP PCI MEZZANINE CARD 4-Port T1/E1/J1 DSP PCI Mezzanine Card The ARTIC 4-Port T1/E1/J1 DSP PCI Mezzanine Card is a single non-extended PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) sized daughtercard designed for use with PMC compatible base adapters. This PMC provides OEMs, integrators, and end-users with four ports of 1.544Mbps (T1) or 2.048Mbps (E1) compatible interfaces which will process data to FEATURE SUMMARY and from the host system or route data between the ports. Four T1/E1/J1 line interfaces, The ARTIC 4-Port T1/E1/J1 DSP PMC can route channels between the four T1/E1/J1 ports and can process the electronically configurable data of any channel of a T1/E1/J1 port up to 128 channels. The ARTIC 4-Port T1/E1/J1 DSP PMC has four RJ-48 Texas Instruments TMS320C62x connectors for attachment to a user-supplied cable. DSP (6203) complexe The Texas Instruments 'C6X DSP complex, operating at 250MHz, 2000MIPS, handles data manipulation and low 250MHz, 2000MIPS level communications protocols. Its processing power allows protocol execution directly on the PMC without 512KB external SBSRAM (1MB-2MB options available) utilizing host bandwidth. By offloading the low-level communications activity from the host, overall system performance can be increased. 32-bit PCI, PMC interface H.100 support via H.100 TDM The ARTIC 4-Port T1/E1/J1 DSP PMC can also route H.100 TDM data through the H.100 interface connector switch & H.100 interface and H.100 TDM switch. It can also transfer H.110 data when mated with a CompactPCI base adapter. connector An 8-port Rear Transition Module (RTM) specially designed to be used with this PMC and the ARTIC 1000 H.110 support via attachment to CompactPCI I/O Platform is also available.
