The system is configured with a PICMG butterfly form factor backplane to support one PICMG 1.3 SHB and a number of PCI Express , PCI-X or PCI option cards. The number and type of option cards supported in the system is a function of both the SHB and butterfly backplane configuration. The TRC2002 rackmount system supports two front access/hot swap drive carriers, a slim-line optical media bay and two redundant system power supplies. The 18.0” depth of the chassis is engineered to support the variety of full-length option cards typically used in diverse applications such as surveillance aircraft, automation machinery and ground-vehicle control systems.
