Description
Signamax Connectivity Systems’ Gigabit network adapter cards are used wherever it is necessary to provide Gigabit Ethernet capability directly into a server or workstation. Models 098-2000SX and 098-2000T utilize the new high-speed 64/32-bit PCI Bus Mastering architecture and support IEEE 802.1p Quality of Service (QoS) and 802.1Q VLAN Tagging standards for complete network optimization. Model 098-2000SX supports the IEEE 802.3z 1000BaseSX specification over either 50/125 micron or 62.5/125 micron multimode fiber optic cabling via its SC fiber connector. Models 098-2000T and 098-2000TR support the IEEE 802.3ab 1000BaseT specification in a Category 5E or better cabling system, using a standard RJ-45 jack. These cards also support 10BaseT and 100BaseTX transmission, allowing their use in networks evolving to Gigabit Ethernet. 1000BaseSX 64/32-Bit PCI Network Adapter Card - SC Multimode
