Product Group Overview Video Broadcast Products 75Ω Broadcast connectors and adapters for crystal clear digital video signals Whether you're working at an event, in a mobile truck, or in the studio, professionals like you need the cleanest, clearest signals for broadcast and production. Transmitting today's digital video signals demands higher bandwidth and greater signal purity than analog signals. Pomona 75Ω Broadcast Electronics' new line of 75Ω digital video connectors and Within Series adapters help meet these demands. These connectors Adapters and adapters are true 75Ω and are designed to minimize Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR). All are precision- machined from high-quality materials. (See specs below). Features • Made from precision machined high quality brass. • Machining provides superior fit of connector parts, permitting less signal loss. • Center contacts are plated with 20 micro inches of gold for better conductivity. • All connectors and adapters are 75Ω for broadcast 75Ω Between Series Adapters applications. Material specifications Body: Gold plated brass (push-ons), Machined nickel plated brass (adapters) Female center contracts: Gold plated heat treated Beryllium copper for long wear life. Insulation Dielectric: PTFE (adapters). General specifications Impedance: 75Ω. Frequency: DC to 3.0 GHz (Applies to 6702, 6703, 6704, 6705). DC to 1.5 GHz (All other adapters). VSWR*: 1.3 Max. (Applies to 6702, 6703, 6704, 6705). 1.5 Max. (All other adapters). Contact resistance: 1.5 mΩ max. Insulation resistance: 5000 MΩ. 75Ω Cable Dielectric withstand voltage: 1500 Vrms. Assemblies Voltage: 33 Vrms/70 Vdc (not). Voltage: 500V**. Insertions: 500. Cable retention: 60 lbs. ** Hands free testing in controlled environment.
