The HS8080 is constructed from heavy gauge aluminum 6.63 (16.84) for moderate damage resistance; the HS8134 is constructed from 5.00 heavy gauge steel for high damage resistance. (12.70) The HS8080/HS8134 feature a hinged lower cover that swings down to allow easy access to the camera and lens.
