COMPENSATION +0.20 –0.60 V WITH BATTERY ± 1.0 V WITHOUT BATTERY RIPPLE: 2.0 V WITH BATTERY p-p 35 VDC WITHOUT BATTERY OVERSPEED: 10,000 RPM DESCRIPTION Model 5371 is a self contained, brushless, air cooled generator with a EFFICIENCY: 60% MIN removable field regulator. At 28 volts DC, it is capable of providing up to 250 amperes at a minimum speed of 2,350 RPM and 400 amperes at 7,500 RPM. COOLING: BI-DIRECTIONAL FAN The generator is of the synchronous, salient pole type, power-rectified to produce 28 volts DC. This output voltage is controlled by a solid-state AMBIENT: -50°C TO 110°C voltage regulator that is mounted directly on the generator housing. The entire unit is designed to withstand the rugged environment experienced by WEIGHT: 78 LBS MAX wheeled or tracked military vehicles. OUTLINE DETAILS
