The 400-hertz, alternating current, three phase, four wire generator is WEIGHT: GEN 20.5 LBS a self-excited, self-cooled, GCU 1.5 LBS brushless design. The machine CTA 0.25 LBS incorporates a permanent magnet generator (PMG) and an exciter generator for self excitation, PROTECTIVE brushless operation and precise FUNCTIONS: OVERVOLTAGE output voltage control. UNDERVOLTAGE UNDER FREQUENCY The GCU regulates the generator FEEDER FAULT voltage and monitors the output of the system. It also controls the system power contactor and provides protective functions to the COMPLIANCE: MIL-G-21480A system, as listed. MIL-E-5272 MIL-E-5400 The current transformer assembly MIL-E-81910 (CTA) is used by the system to MIL-STD-454 protect against situations involving MIL-STD-461 feeder faults and differential line MS-33543 currents.
