Reliability in the toughest environment The 6225 is an industrial computer with the most often used I/O. It integrates serial, parallel, disk, digital, and networking I/O with a low cost–per–function. It is ideal for distributed control, POS, ticketing machines, weigh- ing equipment, etc., where a number of computers are networked through Ethernet—the standard that is rapidly dominating industrial networking. The 6225 operates stand–alone with a 5V power supply, with PC/104 expansion cards, or an ISA Bus backplane. The 6225 is a truly industrial product, operating from –40° to 85° C and withstanding high shock and vibra- tion. The low power consumption allows the 6225 to be placed in sealed enclosures without the use of a fan.
