™ ™ PFU Systems NetCARD Carrier Board TM NetCARD Carrier Board TM for the Plug-N-Run System-On-Module NetCARD Features: • Carrier board compatible with the Plug-N-Run System-On-Module family • Two Type II CardBUS slots ™ • ATA CompactFlash Type II socket • RJ45 connector for 10/100 Ethernet • Two serial ports • One parallel port connector • PS/2 Mouse/Keyboard connector • Dual USB ports connector • CRT and LCD panel connectors • Floppy Disk Drive interface • IDE header for Hard Disk Drive • Single 6V ~ 12V DC input ® NetCARD shown with 500MHz Pentium III Plug-N-Run module DESCRIPTION The NetCARD is an off the shelf I/O carrier board for PFU Systems’ Plug-N-Run System-On-Module product family. ® The NetCARD may be configured with PFU Systems’ Plug-N-Run modules to implement powerful Pentium w/MMX, ™ Pentium III, and Celeron system solutions ranging from 166MHz to 700MHz. The Plug-N-Run mounts directly to the NetCARD via a 320-pin stacking connector. This configuration allows for scalability across a plug-compatible architecture. PFU Systems’ NetCARD-based micro PCs achieve an extremely small footprint for a wide variety of embedded applications requiring high performance and large memory capacity. The NetCARD with Plug-N-Run allows price/performance scalability and quick time to market as an off the shelf solution. Alternatively the NetCARD reference design is available for rapid development of a custom system board for industrial control, test & measurement, mil/aero, medical, kiosk, transportation and inventory management devices. The NetCARD may be configured with any of the following PFU Systems’ Plug-N-Run products and memory modules.
