Interface Features See chapter 14, Programming Support for more details of Non-Standard Interface Pro- gramming. 4.1 Standard Interfaces Programming of Standard Interfaces like Keyboard, VGA, Ethernet, COM1, COM2, IDE and others are known very well, it is a PC Standard. More information can be found in DIMM- PC Module Description. 4.2 RS-422/RS-485 After Power ON or RESET both COM2 drivers the receiver and transmitter are disabled. Use /RTS2 and /DTR2 signals the receiver and transmitter can be enabled. /RTS2=0 driver enable /RTS2=1 driver disable /DTS2=0 driver enable /DTS2=1 driver disable 2 4.3 I C Bus 2 2 The I C bus has no continuity with DIMM-PC module I C bus. 4.4 Panel There are two interfaces for the Panel on the Board, the standard PC keyboard interface and special full duplex serial asynchronnous line. 4.5 CAN Bus The controller SJA1000 (Philips) and driver PCA82C250 make CAN interface on that board. For Address and IRQ settings, see chapter 5. The Programming of CAN bus interface is compatible with PCL-841 Dual-Port CAN Interface Card from ADVANTECH. 5. Address, IRQs and Select Signal Acivity The driver programm is available for Settings of Register Base Address, IRQ and Signals. See chapter 14 for driver parameters description. Its address is set in SETUP (110H, 220H, or 330H). 6. Jumper Settings X2 open: Ground connector XC7 is linked to the shield of XC2, XC4 and XC5 connectors only (factory setting) X2 close: Ground connector XC7 is also linked to GND signal, and XC2, XC4, XC5 7.
