The PMC Carrier contains two PMC slots. Each PMC slot is 64-bit and capable of 33 MHz, 66 MHz, 100 MHz and 133 MHz operation. Cheetah-V PMC Carrier Layout Two Compact Flash sockets support 3.3V mass storage devices. An option is available which replaces one of the PMC slots with a 2.5” hard drive. One of the PMC slots on the carrier routes its I/O to the VME P0 connector per the VITA35-199x specification. The other PMC slot routes its I/O to the VME P2 connector rows A and C,also per VITA35- 199x. The PMC slots can be used as a single doublewide PMC slot if desired. An IDE bus is also routed from the Cheetah-V mainboard to the carrier. This provides the interface for the Compact Flash sockets and optional 2.5” hard drive.
