PA52-P(Z)P Data Sheet 52 pin PLCC socket/52 pin PLCC plug Supported Device/Footprints Adapter Construction These adapters accepts 52 pin PLCC devices and plugs into 52 The adapter is made up of 2 sub-assemblies. They assemble via pin PLCC production sockets. Test points are provided near the connectors making the adapter modular. This way the sub- edges of the circuit board. assemblies can be replaced when they wear out. When disassembling the adapter take care not to bend the pins. The Test Points are rows of plated-thru-holes (PTH) along the 4 edges of the adapter. Grabbers may be used to hook onto the holes. Alternately, 0.050” pitch 13 pin strips can be soldered into the holes and connections made to the strip’s pins. Right angle strips should be considered for easier access to the pins. PA52-PP Adapter Wiring This adapter is wired 1 to 1. Pin 1 of the socket is connected to pin 1 of the plug. Pin 2 to pin 2 and so on around the adapter.
