Digital488/32/OEM Board-Level 32-Bit IEEE 488/Digital I/O Interface Features • Interfaces custom 8‑ or 16‑bit digital The Digital488/32/OEM buses to IEEE 488 provides an IEEE 488 • Provides 32 TTL‑level digital I/O lines interface for small test enclosures • Programmable as inputs or outputs • Board size is only 4” x 4” • Includes LEDs for IEEE 488 bus status The Digital488/32/OEM provides a com- pact, programmable interface between custom 8- or 16-bit buses and the IEEE 488 bus. Ideal for instruments and other enclosures where board size is limited, the Digital488/32/OEM board measures 4” x 4” and can be mounted in almost any location. The unit’s 32 digital I/O lines can be pro- grammed as inputs or outputs in groups of 8 bits. Its microprocessor converts digital words into IEEE 488 compatible bytes, allowing the Digital488/32/OEM to communicate with a standard IEEE 488 controller. Six handshake lines for clear, data strobe, external data ready, inhibit, trigger, and SRQ are included. On-board firmware includes a complete command set for enabling the board’s functions.
