TTS Transformer Test Systems FEATURES The TTS Series are self-contained test sets incorporating all features necessary for testing single- and three-phase distribution ; Main Power Circuit Breaker with Indicating Light transformers. To perform tests, the output ; On/Off Push-button Control leads of the test set are connected to the secondary terminals (low voltage winding) of ; Emergency Off Mushroom Switch the transformer under test. The rated ; High Voltage “On” Flashing Warning Light secondary voltage is then applied to the transformer. At rated voltage, excitation ; “Foot Switch” Safety Interlock current and excitation losses are measured. ; External Interlock Provision for Test Cage or Impedance loss, impedance voltage and full Other Safety Interlock load current tests are performed by reconnecting the output of the test set to the ; “Zero Start” Interlock primary of the transformer and shorting the ; Slow and Fast-Acting Resettable Overload secondary terminals.
