The HMP Platform provides exceptional capacity and redundancy in a rack-efficient 2U, compact package ideal for embed- ded computing applications. The ePC-2S2L slim, compact chassis features two 2-slot butterfly backplanes. Each backplane supports one Single Board Computer, sometimes referred to as a system host board (SHB) slot, and one available half-length 64-bit PCI-X slot up to 100MHz for a high performance I/O card. Constructed of heavy-duty steel, the ePC-2S2L chassis has removable card cages for ease of configura- tion, installation, and maintenance of the processor board and add-in card. Two front, 8cm fans per side, with a replaceable filter, provides excellent cooling for today's high performance CPUs and expansion cards. A single 300W AC ATX power factor corrected universal power supply is provided for each back- plane. A two year limited warranty is included.
