STANDARD CARDS FOR “B” SIZE MAINFRAMES [“B’ CARD SERIES] STANDARD INSTALLED “B” CARDS - 10BIP232, 10BCP200, 10BVT60 & 10BVS98 For use in System 10 ....... The Model 10BIP232 - Interface Processor card for the “B-sized” mainframe. The 10BIP232 card is installed to the far right of the “B” motherboard (when viewed from the front) and perfroms the functions of: Keyboard Interface, Computer Interface, A/D Converter, BAUD rate clock and buss driver for the System 10 mainframe. This card does not contain any configuration memory and can be interchanged with other 10BIP232 cards without affecting the setup. Re-calibration is suggested since the card does contain the A/D converter for the system. The Model 10BCP200 - Central Processor card for the “B-sized” mainframe. The 10BCP200 card is installed to the left of the 10BIP232 card (when viewed from the front) and perfroms the functions of: Main Processor, Configuration Memory, and buss manager. This card contains all channel data configuration and manages the data scanning and processing. The 10BCP200 (which functionally replaced the 10BCP100 and 10BCP100A) is interchangble between Systems but most likely will require reconfiguraiton by the user with the Upload/Download software program like UtiliPAC410 or via the 10P80A keyboard. The Model 10BVT60 - Video Text card for the “B-sized” mainframe. The 10BVT60 card is typically installed in the last “B” slot on the left (as viewed from the front) but varies depending on mainframe. Misplacement of this card can cause damage to the card or the mainframe. The 10BVT60 manages the video function for the mainframe and contains the configuration memory for the video pages and conditional/commands statements as configured by the user. Uploading and downloading of configuration pages can be accomplished using the UtiliPAC410 software. Video pages must be initially created using the 10P80A keyboard. The Model 10BVS98- Video Signal Interface card for the “B-sized” mainframe. The 10BVS98 card is installed to the left of the 10BVT60 (when viewed from the front) and perfroms the functions of generating the analog video signal of the mainframe pages that drives the internal or external monitor of the System 10. This card is interchangable between systems and does not contain any configuraiton memory. Care needs to be taken when installing this card.
