SC8000 fully satisfies all these needs. system SC8000 is fitted with specialized hardware and software to collect data from l Expansion slots for PC/104 cards l 4 serial, 1 parallel and 1 Ethernet Datalogic bar code readers through a fast bus protocol at 1.25 Mb/sec. network adapter on board The standard industrial PC architecture of SC8000 is based on Intel 486/Pentium l Rugged industrial case microprocessor with a Windows 95 or MS/DOS operating system. The standard HW and SW platform executes specialized programs for real time elaboration or any kind of DOS compatible SW programs. Applications The SC8000�s open architecture provides expansion slots for PC/104 standard cards, available for any kind of serial interfaces and I/O cards, based on which l Real time data collection and system control for SC8000 can control and activate local devices or switches. omni-directional reading stations SC8000 is equipped with 4 serial ports, an Ethernet interface and an optional l Parcel sorting stations hard disk for local data storage. l Baggage and cargo sorting The Datalogic industrial controller allows data input with an industrial keyboard systems and provides a very user friendly interface based on the VGA display.
