This industrial scanner is available in two reading range versions. The medium range model features a maximum reading distance of 530 mm while z Ambient light immunity the long range version features an outstanding 1000 mm maximum reading z Variable scan speed up to distance. The reading characteristics of the DS4600 make this scanner suitable 1400 scan/sec for a wide range of applications in the industrial field, including automated z Reading distance up to 1000 mm warehousing and manufacturing. It is the only scanner in its category that fea- z 2 software programmable high tures ambient light immunity. This unique feature makes the DS4600 suitable speed serial interfaces for outdoor applications and makes installation simple, not requiring any z WINHOST™ programming screening of the direct light sources around the reading stations. The DS4600 is available with an ACR™ (Advanced Code Reconstruction) 2nd generation decoder.
