Our goal is to most accurately document and control product performance as it relates to the customers’ application. 6.4.1 Test Plan: Once the 100% 4 hour carry test is validated, increase the current to 120% of rated current and carry for 30 minutes for temperature stabilization. At the end of the 30 minutes, document the voltage drop of each fuse and then apply force to make sure the solder is solid. This test must be performed at 20°C - 25°C ambient temperature to be valid. 6.4.2 Maximum Voltage Drop at 120% rated current Maximum Voltage Drop Catalog Symbol @ 120% rated current 0603FA250mA 1600 mV 0603FA375mA 1100 mV 0603FA500mA TBD 0603FA750mA 775 mV 0603FA1A 400 mV 0603FA1.25A 290mV 0603FA1.5A 290mV 0603FA2A 280mV 0603FA2.5A 280mV 0603FA3A 280mV 0603FA3.5A 220 mV 0603FA4A 200 mV 0603FA5A 150 mV We are checking and documenting voltage drop as an indication of solder joint and/or trace size consistency. Typically, a poor solder joint or a trace that is too small for the current being applied will show a higher voltage drop, which is directly related to fuse temperature. TERRIFIC RESOURCE

This company has been a terrific help to us (I work for Trican Well Service) in sourcing the Micron Ram Memory we needed for our Siemens computers. Great service! And great pricing! I know when the product is shipping and when it will arrive, all the way through the ordering process.

When I can't find an obsolete part, I first call GID and they'll come up with my parts every time. Great customer service and follow up as well. Scott emails me from time to time to touch base and see if we're having trouble finding something.....which is often with our 25 yr old equipment.
