Using a free diskette image utility an administrator can quickly capture a snapshot file of a bootable floppy inserted in any network client. Once a floppy image file is saved, the administrator can then easily direct the host server to boot from the "virtual" floppy through the Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition web-interface. Additionally, the administrator can use the virtual floppy drive capability in combination with the graphical remote console to observe and control the server while the virtual floppy is in use. The virtual floppy drive also allows additional virtual floppy diskettes to be inserted and used (one at a time) by the remote host server.
