The LightWorks ON-Center® Network Control System (NCS) offers network operators a unique set of tools that enable efficient service deployment and proactive network management for the CIENA CN 2130TM, CN 2200TM, CN 2300TM, CN 4200TM, CN 4300TM, and CN 4350TM family of managed metro optical transport and switching products. ON-Center NCS has been fully integrated into the ON-Center Service Level Management suite for seamless end-to-end management within a complete CIENA solution set and its distributed, scalable architecture can alternately manage a network of its elements as a standalone solution. ON-Center NCS also can be integrated directly into an operator’s existing third party management infrastructure using a standards-based CORBA interface
