ATM Switch Card combines with the software running on the Cross-Connection and Control (CCC) card to help service providers support Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) traffic without having to deploy a separate ATM switch, which drastically reduces capital and operational expenses. Each MetroDirector K2™ Multiservice Platform chassis can support up to 4,096 ATM connections.
