Data Channel Units For Charles’ 360 and 363 series T1 Access Multiplexer Systems ® Acquired by Charles Industries from Wescom in 1991, both the 360 and 363 Series Single and Dual Digroup T1 Access Multiplexer Systems are renowned by industry professionals for their dependable performance and quality construction. Charles continues to provide a wide variety of data channel units for 360 and 363 Series systems. Units are available with OCU-DP 4W (cable) interfaces at rates from 2.4 to 64 Kbps. To support direct connection to Data Terminal Equipment, units are available that support rates from 1.2 Kbps to 1.536 Mbps. DSO-DP Channel Units The 3632-00 is used to provide interoffice cross connections of DSO level channels in either DSO-A or DSO-B formats. At DSO-A sub rates the unit can optionally provide majority vote error correction. At the 56 Kb rate, a 3632-09 error correction unit can be provided in an adjacent slot to provide second channel BCH error correction. Secondary channel operation is available at all rates except SW56 and 64 Kbps. The unit provides optional error correction in the DSO channel at rates of 19.2 Kb and below. At rates of 38.4, 56 and 64 Kb, second channel error correction is available. Synchronous channel operation is available at all rates; asynchronous operation is available at rates from 1.2 to 19.2 Kbps. The unit supports latching, non-latching and/or V.54 loopback sequences.
