Series 537 Universal PLCC ZIF Test Socket “Dead Bug” Type FEATURES: • This Universal PLCC ZIF (zero insertion force) Test Socket will take seven sizes of PLCC footprints. • The PLCC is placed in the top half of the clamshell “dead bug” (pins up) fashion. Even the rectangular 32 pin PLCC is accepted by using the unique flippers on the “X” axis PLCC holder. The lid is closed and the PLCC mates with the contact bed. The gold plated con- tacts of the bed end up as solder tail pins on the bottom so that the Universal PLCC ZIF Test Socket can be mounted to a PC board or into Aries’ PLCC to PGA Adapter socket, Part No. 1109283, Data Sheet No. 10014. • Can also be plugged into Aries’ Receptacle, Part No. 84-637-10, Data Sheet No. 10013. • Accepts JEDEC MO-047AA-AH PLCCs and JEDEC Note: Aries specializes in custom design and production. In addition to the MO-044AA-AB Ceramics with 20, 28, 44, 52, 68, or 84 standard products shown on this page, special materials, platings, sizes, and square leads. Also accepts JEDEC MO-052AE PLCCs configurations can be furnished, depending on quantities. Aries reserves the with 32 rectangular leads. right to change product specifications without notice.
