2x2 SCSI Switch Data Specifications Electronic Crosspoint Switch For IT professionals looking to switch between four independent SCSI buses, the APCON 2x2 SCSI Switch is the high-performance electronic crosspoint SCSI switch of choice. With this switch, up to 32 independent SCSI peripherals can be connected and operated over a single Ethernet interface, or users can cascade switches to increase switch matrix size. The push button on the front panel of this 2x2 SCSI Switch allows simple, one step switching. Internal termination is automatically set when the button is pressed or the switch is changed from within the Control Software. The SCSI Switch can be installed at any point on the SCSI bus. The SCSI Switch does not require a SCSI device ID and is completely transparent to all computers and peripherals on the SCSI bus. The 2x2 Switch feature a menu-driven LCD panel with soft touch MENU, ENTER and directional keys. The LCD is lighted, which allows easy viewing and operation of the switch. The standard 10 Base-T Ethernet connection enables system administrators to control the switch from any TCP/IP workstation or server on the network. APCON Control Software allows system administrator to remotely operate and control the SCSI port configuration, termination and report SCSI bus activity.
