2U Dual Dialect IP-SAN / NAS Appliance The StorTrends 2400i is a 2U Dual Dialect IP-SAN and NAS Storage Solution featuring SATA Drives for up to 24 TB of physical storage capacity, with the full-featured version of StorTrends iTX 2.7 Data Storage Software. This rack-mount storage appliance manages both block and file data in a form factor with the storage capacity to support departments, branch offices, and small to medium sized business (SMB) users. Ideal for either primary or secondary storage, it provides many advanced features and superior manageability at an attractive price. The StorTrends 2400i is designed with performance in mind, and includes features for advanced storage management such as Advanced Snapshots, Synchronous and Asynchronous Replication and more to meet a wide variety of data storage and backup needs. The Volume Replication features of the StorTrends 2400i allows data to be stored on multiple StorTrends appliances at multiple sites, and takes advantage of the powerful Wide Area Data Services (WDS) module to dramatically reduce data transfer times and bandwidth use to remote sites.
