Serial2000 8-channel Serial Port Controller for PC/104plus The Serial2000 provides eight asynchronous communications ports on a single low-power PC/104plus card. It provides an unprecedented level of serial port integration, performance and flexibility and is a cost-effective means of adding serial ports to a PC/104plus system. High-speed data throughput The Serial2000 PC/104plus utilizes ultra-high performance industry standard UARTs with features to provide enhanced flow control at extremely high data rates. Each of the eight channels may be individually configured for RS232, RS422 or RS485 operation at asynchronous speeds in excess of 4Mbits/sec. The high bandwidth 32-bit PCI bus ensures that all eight channels can be operated concurrently at their maximum speed.
